Fresh off their European triumph with Deafheaven and Headbussa, hardcore trailblazers Knocked Loose continue their 2024 tear. The band recently announced their eagerly awaited full length effort, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To and unveiled plans for a sprawling North American tour with Loathe, Show Me the Body and Aussie hardcore sensation, Speed.
The album is due out May 10th via Pure Noise Records and serves as the culmination of the Louisville collective's meteoric rise in recent years. The band has been at the forefront of the sound, pushing the ethos and culture of hardcore in a way that has reached an ever-growing fanbase while earning universal acclaim.
Enlisting the expertise of Grammy-nominated, genre flouting producer Drew “WZRD BLD” Fulk whose resume oscillates from from Lil Wayne, NLE Choppa and Kevin Gates to Motionless In White, Papa Roach and Disturbed, Knocked Loose have revisited the creative chemistry the pairing first achieved with the release of 2023 powerful preview in Upon Loss.
Ratcheting up the band's most savage stylistic elements, You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To finds Knocked Loose amplifying their frenetic musical energy - anchored by gargantuan breakdowns and chaotic furies that have become the band's signature.
Offering strong indicator of what's to come on the album, the band have followed the release of "Blinding Faith" with one of their most experimental tracks to date in "Don't Reach for Me". Showcasing the band's take on groove metal dynamics with a clobbering cadence, the track asserts musical brawn in the form of savage guitars, dominate percussion and an unhinged showing from vocalist Bryan Garris. Paired with a gripping visual from Max Moore, it is clear Knocked Loose are operating on a new level.
Coupled with the rollout of You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To, Knocked Loose is set to embark on one of the most anticipated tours of the year. Teaming with Show Me The Body, Loathe and Speed, Knocked Loose will headline a North American run that has already sold out in a majority of the cities on the itinerary.
