Unveiling their first new offering since the release of the band's breakthrough full length Exhibition of Prowess a year ago, Texas purveyors of heft Kublai Khan TX have made a mighty return with "The Mountain of Corsicana". Framing the sheer power of frontman Matt Honeycutt along with the slower tempo sledgehammer of drummer Isaac Lamb paired with the mighty riffage of Nicolas Adams and bassist Eric English - the track showcases the confrontational spirit that has sent the band skyrocketing.

Skipping the elaborate explanations and overthought metaphor, the band explain that the track was written as "a monument to the final man," offering some indication of the immensity of the single. Working with director Max Moore, the accompanying music video features the band's volatile live performance, framed with steed-like strength, offering a preview of the wallop to come.

"The Mountain of Corsicana" arrives as Kublai Khan TX prepare to begin their headlining US tour, Riding out with DRAIN, Gideon and Guilt Trip, the run of shows includes a handful of festival appearances at Louder Than Life, New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, Furnace Fest and a weekend in Las Vegas at When We Were Young. In addition, the tour marks the arrival of the Texas aggressors, with several sold out dates signaling the soaring value of the band.
