Due to deliver one of heavy music's most anticipated releases of the year, Lamb of God have announced plans to celebrate the arrival of their tenth full length, Into Oblivion, with a rare, intimate set in Philadelphia on March 15th.
Taking over the Theatre of Living Arts, Lamb of God will return to Philly for a special album release set, recapturing the magic that was documented on the band's 2005 Platinum-selling Killadelphia album and DVD. The March 15th set will showcase selections from the new album and provide fans with a rare opportunity to see one of metal's biggest bands cramming their arena-sized spectacle into close confines. Jersey aggressors Fit For An Autopsy have been tapped to support.
The announcement adds to the band's album rollout that includes a week of listening parties that spot the country. More than 140 independent record stores are participating in Into Oblivion listening parties from March 13 to 15th. The events will include exclusive merch, prizes and limited edition vinyl variants.
