Left to Suffer Drop Debut Track Of Their Hopeless Records Era, “Gun in the Duffle Bag”

The band will be touring with Dying Fetus and Sanguisugabogg later this year.

Brutalizers Left to Suffer have submitted a powerful debut track to commence their Hopeless Records era. “Gun in the Duffle Bag” marks the band's first recorded offering as the newest recruit to the label and begins what will be a formative year for the deathcore collective.

Left to Suffer's Peter Higgs explained the weight of the new track and why it works as the recorded introduction on Hopeless Records. "'Gun in the duffel bag' is one of the more brutally honest songs we’ve put out when it comes to anger, regret and survival instinct happening all at the same time. Can't think of a better way to settle in and show everyone this new chapter we’ve entered with Hopeless Records."

Vocalist Tayler Barber also offered some insight on the single, "This song is about when your anger has boiled over and you’ve lost all sense of control on your emotions. So you’re violently romanticizing the downfall for your enemies in your head."

In addition to the band's signing to their new label, Left to Suffer was also recently confirmed as a featured artist on the upcoming Dying Fetus/Sanguisugabogg fall tour and is set to perform at Inkcarceration Festival in Mansfield, OH later this summer. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below.
