Loathe Soar With Stylish New Single, "Fangs"

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The third single previews, A Stranger To You, arriving next month via SharpTone Records.

Set to deliver one of heavy music's most anticipated releases of the year next month, Loathe continue to show why they are one of the genre's most progressive, promising contributors. The latest in a succession of effective singles that thus far has included essentials like "Gifted Every Strength" and the NOWHERE2RUN-assisted "Revenant," Loathe have submitted a third preview from the July release that further separates the band from the pack.

"Fangs" asserts Loathe's masterful blend of vocal harmonies with unexpected timing shifts to land serious style points. Leaning into the band's well established groove, only to land a few well-timed musical haymakers, the track is a masterclass in songwriting, sidestepping the status quo of heavy music.

A Stranger to You was engineered, produced and mixed by the band's own Erik Bickerstaffe along with Sean Radcliffe and Feisal El-Khazragi and features a healthy roster of collaborative creatives. Among the broad range of artists featured, jazzy/electronic multi-instrumentalist and producer Jordan Rakei, fellow UK heavy contemporaries Static Dress, rapper/lyricist bucki sugar and multi-hyphenate Mansur Brown.

In support of the highly anticipated full length, Loathe have firmed up plans for the A Stranger to You North American tour. The run features support from heavy shoegaze specialists Fleshwater and noise rock prospects Prostitute as the opening special guests. The trek begins September 19th in Royal Oak, MI and closes out October 13th in San Francisco, CA.

Loathe is also set to perform at Outbreak Festival this weekend and take to the stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago next month before taking up their lengthy North American stretch. See a complete list of confirmed tour dates below. Get tickets to see Loathe live - HERE
