The drop arrives as the band prepare to join Mastodon and Gojira on the Mega-Monsters our next week.
Deathcore juggernauts Lorna Shore are celebrating the two year anniversary of their riveting EP …And I Return to Nothingness, which set in motion a whirlwind of explosive growth for both the band and deathcore as a whole.
Today, the band has dropped a new video for “Of The Abyss”. Produced by Loki films, the video showcases the band’s electrifying live performance in a variety of settings. The release is also accompanied by a swath of new limited merch, available HERE.
Adam De Micco (guitar) comments: “I don’t think anyone of us could predict what the EP would have done for this band as well as us as individuals. Those three songs allowed us to do things we would have only dreamed of. We are extremely grateful for everything that came from this EP and want to celebrate its anniversary. Thank you for finding yourself in this body of work the way we have. Thank you for everything.”
For those of you who have yet to see Lorna Shore live, this video should hold you over until you can catch one of their many live performances scheduled throughout 2023. Next week, the band kicks off their run with Mastodon and Gojira for the second leg of the “Mega-Monsters Tour 2023”.
After wrapping with them on September 2nd in Denver, CO, the band will hit the road for a short run with The Acacia Strain and I Am, wrapping with a set at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Then, this November, they head across the pond for a headline run with support from Rivers of Nihil, Ingested, and Distant.
