Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Announce 'Cheatin' On Death' Tour

- By Ramon Gonzales

The run marks the band first full tour in more than a decade and includes support from Letter Kills, Islander, LIMBS & Saltwound.

Alabama vets Maylene and the Sons of Disaster have officially marked their return with the news of their first extensive tour since 2014. Stirring excitement back in 2022 when the band reconvened for an appearance at Furnace Fest and dropped their first single in more than a decade with "Burn the Witches", the band has since seen a resurgence and have punctuated that fact with the announcement of the spring tour.

The Cheatin' On Death Tour is no doubt a play on the tragic 2016 ATV accident that left frontman Dallas Taylor with a severe brain injury and trauma to the carotid artery among other serious injuries. The accident also derailed the band, forcing a lengthy hiatus as Taylor endured several surgeries and an exhaustive recovery.

In addition to this marking the first proper tour in a decade, the run also features a strong support roster with Letter Kills celebrating 20 years of, The Bridge each night of the tour. Also joining the run, Islander, LIMBS and Saltwound round out the bill that kicks of April 24th in New Orleans, LA and finishes May 25th in Tampa, FL.

Tickets for the Cheatin On Death Tour go on sale February 23rd at 10am local time. See the full list of dates and cities below.
