Metallica is already piecing together their itinerary for 2026 with the announcement of additional M72 World Tour dates, revisiting Europe for a slate of single night performances as well as a handful of "No Repeat" weekend takeovers in select cities.
Kicking off May 9th in Athens, Greece, Metallica will hold court starting a succession of one-night only performances featuring a commanding one-two of support with special guests Gojira and Knocked Loose.
Along the way, Metallica will host city-wide takeovers in the same "No Repeat" weekend format that has define the M72 World Tour - two unique sets, two performances, one weekend long event. The first begins May 22nd & 24th in Frankfurt, Germany. Metallica that invades Budapest, Hungary June 11th & 13th, Dublin, Ireland June 19th & 21st and finally London on July 3rd & 5th.
Each of the weekend takeover stops will feature alternating supporting sets from Gojira along with Knocked Loose and Pantera partnered with Avatar for the second night.
