The long-awaited return of powerviolence practitioners NAILS has been confirmed with the news of the band's fourth full length album set to land August 30th via Nuclear Blast Records.
Every Bridge Burning marks the band's first studio album release in eight years and the first with the reconfigured line-up of drummer Carlos Cruz of Warbringer, bassist Andrew Solis of Despise You and Apparition as well as guitarist Shelby Lermo of Ulthar.
Spearheaded by NAILS founder, frontman and sonic architect Todd Jones, the latest from NAILS finds the band building on their brand of sonic brutality, complimented by the skillful supervision of celebrated producer Kurt Ballou at God Head Studios.
With the news of the album, NAILS has shared the blistering first single, "Imposgin Will". The sub 90-second onslaught unloads of a barrage of metallic relentlessness, strengthened by the maniacal vocals of Jones out front.
“‘Imposing Will’ is special to the record in that I knew we wanted it to be the opener,” shared Jones. “We wanted it to have the effect of an urgency; an immediacy in the music itself. When you push play, you get smacked in the face.”
NAILS is also set to perform a stretch of live dates following the release of Every Bridge Burning. In addition to dates with the likes of 200 Stab Wounds and ibalba, NAILS will be featured at this year';s New England Metal & Hardcore Festival along with a trek overseas to perform at Damnation Festival in Manchester, UK. The current list of dates can be found below.
