UK pop-punk standouts Neck Deep have previewed their upcoming Slam Dunk appearance this weekend with the release of the charged new track, “You Should See Me Now.” Working with producer Will Yip, the track was sourced from the self-titled sessions that arrived last year.
ben Barlow shared of the latest single, "‘You Should See Me Now’ is a song about hard work, self-belief, the struggle through adversity and proving people wrong. As a band we’ve always been pretty humble and shied away from too much self-aggrandisement, but this felt like a good way of showing a little pride, and hopefully people can relate to that too. It was a song we’ve had in the bank for a long time and really should’ve been on the album in the first place, so it’s nice to have such a strong bonus track to be featured on something cool to be announced soon.”
Along with the hint of something new in the works, the track previews a healthy slate of live dates from Neck Deep. Kicking things off with a highly-anticipated appearance at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend, Neck Deep will also set out for an extensive US run later this year supporting The Story So Far for a fall run along with Origami Angel and Pain of Truth.
The tour begins September 9th in St. Paul, MN. and conclude with a Southern California outdoor play - taking over the festival grounds at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on October 11th. Along the way, Neck Deep will also make an appearance at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY. See the complete list of dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
