Following the success of the single "If It Doesn't Hurt" which debuted earlier this year, Texas-bred rock phenomenon Nothing More has announced the June arrival of their fifth studio full length entitled, Carnal. The album follows the universal acclaim of the band's 2022 LP, Spirits, propelled by the meteoric success of the single, "Tired of Winning".

The latest submission from the band enlists producer WZRD BLD (Disturbed, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember) with a final mix from Zakk Cervini (Limp Bizkit, MGK, Bring Me The Horizon). Comprised of energized rock anthems that capture the band's infectious live prowess, the 15-track effort find Nothing More operating at their performative peak.

Speaking to the significance of the album guitarist Mark Vollelunga said, “‘CARNAL’ feels like a perfect encapsulation of what NOTHING MORE has always been. From progressive introspection to steady-state rock ‘n roll, we felt like we’ve achieved the exact balance wanted for this next installment.”

Bassist Daniel Oliver offered his assessment of the project, “It’s a beautiful blend of memorable guitar riffs, illustrious chord progressions and heart wrenching lyrical performances all to the beat of a drum that palpitates with syncopated obsession. There’s truly something for everyone on this record.”

Officially commencing the album rollout campaign, Nothing More have unveiled a potent new single in "House On Sand". Bolstering the infectious intensity of the track, the band recruited Eric Vanlerberghe of I Prevail in what makes for an emphatic introduction and a strong contender for the new setlist essential.

Sharing some insight on the thematic and personal importance of the track, Jonny Hawkins explained, "Sometimes you lose sight of your purpose in life and wander off of the path you were on. Years later you find yourself in a life that does not match the vision you once had for yourself. Trapped, you are left with a choice…betray your inner voice, or trust it; continue on and play it safe, or turn back and start again… I’m starting again.”

As for Vanlerberghe, the I Prevail frontman weighed in on his involvement with the project. “Almost a year ago, the boys in Nothing More sent me this demo and asked if I’d consider hopping on it. I checked it out and for the next few weeks, I had the chorus engrained in my brain. The song really resonated with me. I think this track, as well as the rest of their record, is Nothing More’s best work and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Along with the confirmation of the newest album, Nothing More is gearing up to kick off their 2024 spring co-headlining tour opposite Wage War. The North American trek will include special guests Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory, quikcly followed by a set of direct support shows with Godsmack in June. Nothing More is also slated to appear at Louder Than Life and Aftershock.
