Long Island hardcore standouts Pain of Truth have teamed with producer William Putney to put the finishing touches on their sophomore self-titled full length album. Arriving September 25th via Daze, the 11-track presentation combines generations of hardcore lineage into one bulldozing effort.

Beginning the run up to the album release, Pain of Truth have shared the charged lead single, "Unforgiven". Fusing furious guitars and the command of vocalist Michael Brian Smith, the track sets the tone for what looks to be Pain of Truth's most focused, ferocious collection of tracks to date.

Smith spoke to the uplifting messaging embedded in the introductory single, “I wrote this track to give a sense of hope in horrible times. Using your energy to make a move and turning it into a win.”

Paired with the announcement of the new album, Pain of Truth begins a short California run of live dates leading to their appearance at Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach this weekend.
