Philly punk collective Poison Ruin has followed the recent announcement of their new full length, Hymns From the Hills, with the confirmation of a headlining tour across the Northeast region of North America in support of the latest presentation. 

Tapping a broad range of supporting artists for the trek, The Serfs, Prision Postumo, Cruelster, Dollhouse, Savage Pleasure, Peace Talks, Zorn and Marked Men will each take on select dates of the upcoming run. As for Poison Ruin, the band will be showcasing selections from Hymns From the Hills, the band's current iteration that combines bleak narrative with their signature brand of pummeling punk. 

The live campaign for Poison Ruin adds to the band's current swell, following last week's reveal of the lead single, “Eidolon.” Backed by driving guitars and a sturdy backbeat, the track speaks to a dismal reality with a dominant sound the suggests Poison Ruin is on the verge of their most complete work to date.

Frontman, lyricist and guitarist Mac Kennedy explained of the single, “‘Eidolon’ is about being stuck in a broken reality, a cog in a fate-machine doomed to play out the same cursed loop until it fully breaks down. The ones who had the power to affect change have abandoned the scene. Their phantoms loom down in quiet disapproval of the disaster that slowly plays out beneath-- Grim reminders of what could have, but will not be.”

Poison Ruin will set out on their succession of live dates starting April 11th in New York with a hometown finale on May 2nd in Philadelphia.
