Last week, veteran heavy groove practitioners Sevendust announced their landmark 15th studio album, ONE. Set for a May 1st release, the album showcases the band's signature meld of heavy groove with masterclass performances from the respected core of Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connolly, Vince Hornsby, and Morgan Rose
Now, the band have submitted their first showing of new music on the year, debuting the lead single from the new album with the track, "Is This the Real You." Asserting the band's unmistakable sound, Witherspoon's hearty croon backed by the weighty groove of Rose, Connolly, Horsby and Lowery working in lockstep, make for an introduction to modern Sevendust that is quintessential.
“It was as honest, natural, and pure as any song can be. If you really want to know what Sevendust sounds like in 2026, ‘Is This The Real You?’ gives you a good idea,”SEVENDUST guitarist John Connolly shared.
The announcement of the band's latest album arrives as Sevendust have begun their What Lies Within Tour supporting Alter Bridge throughout Europe. Currently on the road, the tour concludes in Nottingham on March 5th.
In addition to the band's lengthy European stretch, Sevendust have also confirmed their own headlining tour in support of the new album. Joined by a supporting roster that includes Atreyu, Fire From the Gods and American Adrenalin the U.S. tour begins April 16th in Carterville, IL and wraps May 21st in Nashville, TN. The trek will include stops at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple as well as a supporting play with Alter Bridge along the way.
