Steel City deathcore collective Signs of the Swarm have confirmed a late summer tour marking the band's decade-long tenure. The Decade of the Swarm tour not only marks an important milestone for the band in commemorating their ten-year career thus far, but also marks pivotal first as the band's first, proper headlining tour.
Further bolstering the run, Signs of the Swarm have recruited Cane Hill and blackened deathcore unit Ov Sulfur to join the trek. Opening each night of the tour, 156/Silence and A Wake in Providence round out a stacked line-up set to begin August 29th at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. The tour will conclude September 28th in Lakewood, OH - but not before touching down for a hometown set in Pittsburgh, PA at Preserving Underground.
"TEN YEARS of relentless dedication, 5 albums and nearly 1,000 performances later, we are thrilled to bring you an explosive celebration for a decade of the band's survival; our first ever proper North America headline tour will be the DECADE OF THE SWARM," explained drummer Bobby Crow.
"We are preparing a career-spanning set list and top notch production alongside some of our best friends that we've made over the years."
Offering a bit more perspective, Crow shared, "On a personal note, I've spent more than 1/3rd of my life creating and performing music with Signs of the Swarm, and I've never been more grateful to be a part of this journey than I am right now. So come and join us on our crusade across North America for a night of heavy music, built from the ground up, for the fans."
In addition to the major milestone, Signs of the Swarm will be touring in support of their 2023 full length, Amongst the Low & Empty. The album was produced by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, King 810, Tallah, Varials) and was celebrated as one of the most dynamic heavy music releases of last year.
