UK post-hardcore firebrand Static Dress is currently making converts while on the road supporting Underoath on the band's 20th anniversary tour for the watershed post-hardcore release, They's Only Chasing Safety. Riding the momentum from such a landmark tour, the universally-acclaimed prospects in Static Dress have confirmed their own headlining trek of the US - the band's first-ever.
Set to begin April 17th in Brooklyn, NY and conclude May 11th in Atlanta, GA, Static Dress will trek across the US with support from Soul Blind along with a rotation of openers to be announced in the coming weeks. The tour follows the band's lengthy supporting run and marks an important moment in their skyrocketing ascent in the landscape of contemporary post-hardcore.
"This is finally the chance for the U.S. to express/experience Static Dress the way it's meant to be," explained the band of the recent tour announcement.
The band will be out in support of the reimagined variation of their widely-acclaimed full length, Red Carpet Disaster of which included a 2023 revamped edition coined, 'Redux'. The band debuted new music coming off the Redux cycle with the debut of the standalone single, 'crying'. The late spring entry showcases the band's profound meld of volatility and melody - packaged with the overarching vision of creative force Olli Appleyard.
