The first leg of the tour two decades in the making is set to kick of next month.
Earlier this summer, Static-X quickly followed up on the success of the band’s Rise of the Machine tour with Fear Factory, by confirming plans for a fall North American trek along with nu-groove vets Sevendust for the appropriately dubbed, The Machine Killer Tour.

The name of the tour references the longstanding tenure of both bands, borrowing from Static-X’s iconic sophomore full length, Machine, and Sevendust’s most recent fourteenth studio album, Truth Killer. The LP debuted July 28th via Napalm Records and was fueled by the success of effective singles in “Fence” and “Everything”.
The first leg of the Machine Killer tour runs 21-dates and kicks off October 6th in Houston, TX. and rounds out with the finale in Los Angeles, CA on November 1st in what will be a hometown play for Static-X. The run will also include an especially important stop on October 10th with a hometown show for Sevendust. Veterans DOPE and prospects Lines of Loyalty will be on as support for all dates.
To accommodate the demand of the initial announcement, Static-X and Sevendust have confirmed a second leg of the Machine Killer Tour set to begin in February of 2024. The second stretch of 21-cities launches February 1st in Myrtle Beach, SC and closes out February 27th in Newport, KY.
Members of both Static-X and Sevendust both discussed their shared history and the excitement that comes with a tour that has been in the making since 1999.
“We are excited to bring the fans an even bigger and better show than the last one” says Xer0 of Static-X. “We are already building the new production elements and we intend to blow the roofs off of these venues each night.”
“We can’t wait to hit the road with our friends in Static-X and DOPE. It has been 24 years since the last time we have shared a stage with those guys. We can’t wait to do it again this Fall and to bring together all of our family members together in one place,” added Lajon Witherspoon.
“We are beyond thrilled to be touring with Sevendust again” says Tony Campos. “They bring one hell of a show each and every night, so this tour is going to be one for the ages.”
“We’re excited to join our friends in Static-X and Dope who we share much history with on tour,” add Clint Lowery. “I have no doubt that this will be an extremely entertaining and high production run. The bands and the fans have much to look forward to on this one. Do not miss out!”
