Static-X unveils new animated video for "Zombie"

- By Ramon Gonzales

The single previews the band's 'Project Regeneration: Vol. 2' due out early 2024.

Resurrecting industrial metal vets Static-X have shared another preview from their pending 2024 full length, Project Regeneration: Vol. 2.

Driven by the band's distinct Evil Disco stylistic signature, the track "Z0mbie" is anchored by a guitar riff created by band founder Wayne Static and was recorded by the original Wisconsin Death Trip lineup of Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda and Ken Jay.

Paired with the track arrives a new animated visual crafted by Makinita Silva and directed by Static-X creative director, Edsel Dope. The clip features demented debauchery executed in a visual headtrip of sex, drugs and rock n roll.

The clip and album preview land as the band embark on the Machine Killer Tour alongside the OGs in Sevendust. The single serves as the latest offering from the forthcoming Project Regeneraiton: Vol. 2 following the recent delivery of the powerful "Stay Alive" and a timeless cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Terrible Lie".

The trifecta of Static-X, Sevendust and DOPE begins the Machine Killer Tour October 6th and wraps next year in late February seeing to fruition a tour that has been decades in the making. A complete list of dates and cities can be found below. Get tickets - HERE
