Fast food trendsetters Taco Bell has recruited skate legend Tony Hawk for a new summer campaign soundtracked with a pair of new selections from Turnstile's latest LP, Never Enough.
Featuring “SEEIN’ STARS” and “BIRDS,” the fresh campaign is to launch the Tony Hawk’s Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box. Lauching July 11, the meal box also pairs exclusive in-game cosmetic drops for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ 3+4—available for a limited time through the Taco Bell app.
Speaking on the collaborative project, Hawk gushed about his love for the Bell and shared how the “Taco Bell was my fuel in the early days. It kept me going when I was chasing a dream,” said Tony Hawk. “I gave myself a daily Taco Bell allowance and practically lived on it while skating from morning to night. So, getting to create my own box with Taco Bell along with co-creating a line of new in-game cosmetics? It’s more than just cool, it’s a full circle moment. I hope it inspires others chasing their passion to keep pushing, keep grinding, and maybe grab a taco along the way.”
As for Turnstile, the latest project continues the band's working relationship with Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat program. The band was first featured in the 2022 Nacho Fries campaign where the tracks “HOLIDAY” and “T.L.C. TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION” from GLOW ON were featured.
To kick off the new summer promotion, on June 24th Taco Bell is also giving away 500 limited-edition custom skateboard decks at 2PM PT, with the first 15 autographed by the legend himself, Tony Hawk. The design brings the in-game cosmetic to life—based on the exclusive skateboard fans can unlock in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ 3+4, now turned into an IRL collectible. Plus, Taco Bell is giving away 50,000 early-access demo codes for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ 3+4 starting at 3PM PT.
