Thrown Into Exile Team with Matt Heafy On the Fierce New Single, "Nihilist"

Check the newest single co-signed by Heafy from the West Coast aggressors following their healthy touring stretch supporting the likes of Arch Enemy, Cavalera and Fear Factory

Following the recent release of the epic "Eternal Nothingness" landing earlier this summer, metallic stalwarts Thrown Into Exile have delivered an important collaboration with none other than Matthew K. Heafy of the mighty Trivium.

"Nilhilst" boasts the balanced attack of precision and pummel that has defined Thrown Into Exile's sound. A combination of competent fretwork with well-honed melodies, bolstered by furious percussion and a healthy double-kick create a hostile track that soars further with the aid of Heafy's anthemic vocals.

The track made it's debut via Heafy's “Chaos Hour” show on Sirius XM Liquid Metal and underscores his continued commitment to nurturing and platforming the next generation of heavy music's flagbearers.

As for the West Coast unit, the arrival of "Nihilist" for Thrown Into Exile adds to a pivotal year that has seen the collective make important strides. The band took on a cross-country trek supporting Arch Enemy this year, earning new base of devoted fans with their convincing live set. Along with additional tour dates with Cavalera on Chaos AD tour as well as supporting dates on the Fear Factory on Demanufacture run, Thrown Into Exile asserted a special versatility while performing under some of heavy music's most respected veterans.

Already gearing up for what looks to be a formative 2026, the band was recently confirmed to appear at Bloodstock Open Air along the likes of Testament, Orbit Culture, Black Label Society, and Judas Priest to name a few.

"Nihilist," the new track from Thrown Into Exile featuring Matthew K. Heafy is available now. Get the single - HERE
