Rendering genre lines completely irrelevant, hardcore gamechangers Turnstile have joined forces with jazz specialists BadBadNotGood to debut the collaborative EP effort, New Heart Designs. The 3-track presentation features completely reworked, reimagined versions of essentials from Turnstile’s seminal 2021 release, Glow On – an album celebrating almost two years exactly to the release date.
The New Heart Designs features renditions of “Mystery”, “Alien Love Call” which features Blood Orange and “Underwater Boi”. The release also touts an accompanying video component which was filmed and edited by Alex Henery. The visual compiles live footage and a jovial look at the last whirlwind two years for Turnstile – meshing stylized performance footage with the celebration of fans as the band has trekked across the global and converting a new generation of believers.
