Solid State and Tooth & Nail Records have recently expanded their artist roster by signing the UK band Acres. The announcement coincides with the release of Acres' new music video for their single "A Different Shade Of Misery." The video, showcasing the band's unique blend of intensity and melodious sound, was produced by Landon Tewers of The Plot in You.
Acres' vocalist, Ben Lumber, describes the song as a personal journey of overcoming inner demons. "I wrote this when I was at a really low point," says Lumber. "It's about regaining control and confronting the battles within oneself." The song marks a new musical direction for the band, emphasizing their continuous evolution with each release.
In support of their latest work, Acres is embarking on a winter tour alongside bands Holding Absence, Capstan, and Casey. The tour will cover various cities across the United States and Canada, including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Denver, and New York, among others.
Acres' tour schedule is packed with exciting dates, starting in Seattle at Neumos on January 16th and concluding at The Palladium in Worcester, MA, on February 17th. Fans can expect to experience the band's new era first-hand in these performances across North America. Tickets are available HERE.
