In the wake of the success of their universally lauded 2022 release, Profound Mortality, UK outfit Heriot have announced their signing to global extreme music authority, Century Media Records. 

Having shared the stage this year supporting the mighty Architects, in addition to debuting their forceful standalone single "Demure" back in February, the news of their commitment to Century Media punctuates a career year for the band. Among the achievements notched for the band since the release of Profound Mortality include live dates with Rolo Tomassi, Lamb Of God, Thy Art Is Murder, as well as highlight appearances at Download Festival, 2000trees, Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock and more. 

Along with the news of the signing to cap off such a pivotal year, Heriot have released their official introduction on the label with the debut of the profound track, "Soul Chasm". 

The band commented on the single and the promise of the future on their new label. "'Soul Chasm' illustrates the internal struggle for peace, revealing our tendency to be unkind to ourselves and how the fear of failure can dim the vibrancy of our existence.
