Earlier this summer, death metal powerhouse Undeath confirmed the pending release of their third full length album, More Insane, coupled with a headlining North American tour.

Set for an October 4th arrival, the album follows the acclaim of their 2022 sophomore release, It's Time... To Rise From the Grave and continues the band's fruitful partnership with Prosthetic Records.

The project was co-produced by Undeath along with respected studio vet, Mark Lewis whose resume includes entries with Cannibal Corpse and The Black Dahlia Murder to name a few. Building on the foundation cemented with their 2020 debut, Lesions Of A Different Kind further strengthened by It's Time..., Undeath has dialed up their extremity going harder, faster and more grotesque in their campaign of death metal glory.

Ramping up the momentum en route to the album's release, Undeath have dropped an absolute mindfuck of a music video for the band's latest single, "Disputatious Malignancy". The blistering new track was unveiled exclusively via Matt Heafy's Sirius XM Chaos Hour. Paired with a visually engaging claymation video directed and animated by Hayden Hall, "Disputatious Malignancy" showcases the totality Undeath's extremity.

Sharing more insight on the track and its importance on the album, vocalist Alexander Jones explained, "This was actually one of the last songs written for the album. Kyle (guitars) had an extremely rough demo of it on his phone that I overheard him listening to when we were at Mark's studio doing pre-production, and just from hearing that I knew it had to be on the record no matter what."

Jones also detailed the creative vision for the single, "Thematically it's got kind of a 'Pierced From Within'-era Suffocation meets Bloodborne lore vibe and it's definitely the closest thing we have lyrically to a 'fuck god/religion' song, which is kind of new territory for us. It's fast as shit, bouncy and has a killer dueling squeal-y solo part that I absolutely love."

Further commenting on the significance of the record, Undeath use some very specific language to best convey how the album ranks in their celebrated discography.

'More Insane' is the biggest, baddest, nastiest Undeath record yet by every conceivable metric. It's a fucking sick death metal record for sick death metal freaks and anyone out there who can appreciate the transcendent power of a good riff played fast on distorted electric guitars. No bullshit whatsoever - not even for a second. 10 tracks of death metal earworms crafted by 5 guys who shower just irregularly enough to invoke the spirits of the death metal ancient ones.

To put a bow on it all: 'More Insane' is the sickest shit we've ever done, full stop. Death metal reigns supreme forever and we are but its humble servants. Enjoy and smoke 'em if you've got em."

The More Insane North American tour will span some 25 cities and will feature Undeath showcasing selections from their third full length album via Prosthetic Records. Kicking off September 25th in Los Angeles, Undeath will close out their tour with a hometown set in Rochester, NY on October 27th - doubling as a record release show.

Undeath have tapped Kruelty, Gates To Hell and rotating opening sets from Tribal Gaze and Torture to add to the strength of the stretch of live dates.

"We're so excited to announce our first ever full-U.S. headlining tour, coming this Fall!" shared Undeath."We've been lucky enough to co-headline with and support so many amazing bands in the past few years, but this tour will be the first time we've struck out on our own headliner across the country.
