Releasing a serious contender in the Album of the Year discussion, Unto Others has announced plans to trek in support of last month's Never, Neverland with their first headlining North American tour in three years.
Just recently, Unto Others was unceremoniously dropped from their upcoming run supporting W.A.S.P. for their 40th anniversary run. While the controversial move left many uncertain as to what would happen next for Unto Others, the band and their team quickly got to work to find a proper pivot, adjusting to such a last minute curveball.
The result is a return to more intimate confines for Unto Others with the Never, Neverland North American tour. Specifying smaller clubs and more intimate stages, Unto Others plans to get up close and personal with the fans for their first run iun support of their acclaimed 2024 album.
Gabriel Franco of Unto Others spoke honestly about the Hail Mary, how the tour came together fast and the kind of resilience that is evident among the band. "As many of you already know, 5 weeks ago our previously planned North American tour fell through. With very little time our excellent team has managed to keep us on the road. We are making a point on this run to hit cities we do not travel to very often, or have never played at all. There are still a few TBA's right now, but we will keep you updated as we finish up the booking process."
Franco continued, "This will be our first headlining tour of the USA in 3 years, so expect a long set that covers our entire catalog, in small sweaty venues. If you don't see your town here, we have plans to hit as many major U.S. cities as we can in 2025. Until then, thanks for your support."
Paired with the news of the North American run, Unto Others has shared a new visual for the ode to the Ramones. Taking on the iconic "Pet Sematary", Unto Others asserts their stylishly dark, effortlessly heavy sound with a rendition that rings true to the original with an injection of new blood.
