Last year, the Craig Owens' led post hardcore heroes of Chiodos made their triumphant return  to the stage after nearly a decade away for When We Were Young - a moment that resonated huge for fans as the band marked the start of their 20th anniversary of the seminal, All's Well That Ends Well.

A subsequent headlining tour would extend the festivities of the album's anniversary, taking the show on the road and reviving the revelry of the beloved record with essentials like "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute on the Creek," "No Hardcore Dancing In the Living Room" and the anthem "The Words 'Best Friend' Become Redefined" live. Landing with both longtime fans and a new generation that missed the band's formative first run, Chiodos has conducted an impressive victory lap, presiding over sold out rooms across the country showcasing selections that have undoubtedly withstood the test of time. 

For the first of two Southern California stops to punctuate the celebratory run, Chiodos hold court inside the Riverside Municipal Auditorium for a night leaned heavily on the nostalgia of their lauded 2005 time piece in All's Well That Ends Well. Constructing a setlist that wisely configured the album's hits in a way that ramped up the energy progressively throughout the night, "All Nereids Beware," led into "There's No Penguins in Alaska" eventually shifted to "To Trixie and Reptile, Thanks for Everything". 

Owens also managed to work in a bit of Bone Palace Ballet for dramatic effect with "The Undertaker's Thirst for Revenge is Unquenchable" and "Bulls Make Money, Bears Make Money, Pigs Get Slaughtered" breaking up the album focus of the night. 

Closing the show in grand fashion, Chiodos emptied the tank with "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On the Creek" teleporting an entire auditorium back to the salad days of early 2000s Warped Tour, with a track that not only helped to define an era and still has serious legs some twenty years later.
