Organizers for FYA Fest in Florida kicked off the 2025 slate with precedent-setting weekend of aggression. Marking the 11th anniversary of the beloved hardcore tradition, FYA showcased rare performances and reunion sets that spanned the spectrum of hardcore.
Among the highlights at FYA 2025, ATL hardcore stalwarts Foundation took the stage for a standout headlining set. The band split in 2016 and would go onto forge projects like Abuse of Power, CANDY and Criminal Instinct to list a few. Additionally holding down that top line, powerviolence vets NAILS came out swinging, ripping through entries from their first new album in eight years, Every Bridge Burning.
Among the added reunion sets that have become a part of the FYA signature include performances from Blistered and The Mongoloids. Festival staples that delivered the goods included guarantees like Mindforce, Terror, Fury, Final Resting Place, Big Boy, death metal vets Internal Bleeding and the new project, Holy Blade which features members of Twitching Tongues, God's Hate and Cosmic Joke.
