Closing out the final of three glorious rock-heavy days on the grounds of the hallowed Ohio State Reformatory, Inkcarceration 2024 showcased a stellar line-up of artists spanning the stylistic spectrum of rock music. 

Rallying the energy on the third anf final day, energized submissions from the likes of Brand of Sacrifice, ERRA and Tne56. spoke to the youth and vitality of contemporary heavy music. There were also memorable showings from established vets, with giants like Parkway Drive and Skillet asserting the kind of spectacle that has made them such beloved bands. 

Placing a powerful punctuation on the weekend, Shinedown offered testament to the celebratory spirit of the three-day congregation. The band's headlining set included dazzling production and the kind of pyrotechnics indicative of a proper rock show. Emitting a glow that radiated bright from the once formerly dark corner of the haunted state reformatory, Shinedown did just that as they sent Inkcarceration home satisfied and assured that next year can't come fast enough.
