This month, Knotfest Japan finally came to fruition after what became a three-year delay. While Slipknot was initially slated to perform in the region back in 2020, an unprecedented pandemic would thwart those plans, forcing organizers to push back the show to 2021 and again to 2022.

Opting to wait until 2023, the line-up for the eventual return of Knotfest Japan only swelled in size and with anticipation asa diverse roster of bands were continuously confirmed. Among those recruited for the grand return were rock music gamechangers and global icons, KORN.

Trekking internationally in support of their 2022 full length, Requiem, the legendary collective compiled a career-spanning set that sourced selections from various eras of their unparalleled run. From The Serenity of Suffering and Requiem to Follow the Leader and Life Is Peachy, KORN covered all the bases in a focused, concise 12-song set that brought the house down at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

Some things are well worth the wait.
