The annual NAMM Show brought together music gear companies from all over the world to showcase their latest and greatest on the convention floor in Anaheim, CA. Every January, the industry-driven, open-to-the-public congregation functions as a global platform for the newest in technology, performance, innovation and beyond for musicians of all types, all backgrounds and of the very top tier.
Among the players making an appearance, Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson spent some time at the Anaheim Convention Center. Thomson would make a handful of appearances throughout the weekend, guesting at brand booths that work with Thomson as part of his live rig.
Making stops at Fishman to showcase his signature series pickups, as well as a stop at Richter Straps, Thomson would set up shop to do an exclusive signing for fans in attendance. The signing would draw long lines of fans waiting to meet Thomson, snap a photo and get some face time with number 7.
