Arguably hardcore music's most respected international destination, Outbreak has been a fixture within the culture for more than a decade. Responsible for some of the genre's most legendary line-ups, Outbreak now finds themselves as a brand evolving, fully embracing artists that are hardcore adjacent to better diversify the banner.
Following last year's headlining sets from Denzel Curry and Death Grips, 2024 saw the likes of Action Bronson, JPEGMafia and Soccer Mommy present a different dynamic of Outbreak - one that further emphasized organizers nuanced understanding of their audience - both existing and potential.
Adding significance to the three-day gathering, Outbreak Fest 2024 also included exclusive performances with the likes of Joyce Manor playing 'Never Hungover Again' for the 10th anniversary, NOTHING performing 'Guilty of Everything' for the 10th anniversary, The Hotelier playing 'Home, Like Noplace Is There' for the 10th anniversary and THURSDAY performing full sets of War All The Time and Full Collapse.
Pooling Poison the Well, Basement, Show Me the Body, Higher Power, Incendiary, Chat Pile, Harms Way and Ceremony just to include a few, Manchester as truly become a haven for hardcore with global implications and the three day congregation B.E.C Arena offered yet another resounding example of how Outbreak has become the wide-reaching barometer of all things contemporary in the culture.
