The hometown show for the co-headliners underscored their enduring catalog and their continued musical dominance.

Among the final stops of the well-received Rise of the Machine tour, the union of Static-X, a fully revealed Fear Factory, DOPE and Twiztid took on the Belasco Theater over the weekend for a hometown sold out show.

The spectacle of the evening was bolstered by stunning visual of the evolved, mechanized, maniacal look of Static-x guitarist/vocalist Xer0. The band recently teamed with of Eddie Yang of Deity Creative, whose resume includes blockbuster films like Avatar, Iron Man, Robocop and Terminator: Salvation along with Ed McDonough from ECCO Studios and Edsel Dope to develop the modernized aesthetic.

In addition to the dazzling visual display, Static-X are charging towards the release of their second installment of the Project: Regeneration later this year - delivering a visceral performance indicative of a band revitalized and creatively reborn.

Combined with the enduring legacy and innovative heft of a meticulously reformed Fear Factory, and their new vocalist Milo Silvestro - the potent combination of the two influential outfits framed an evening of music that defied genre and generation.

In tandem with a pair of renegades in their own right, the LA stop of the Rise of the Machine tour was bolstered by showings from New York OGs DOPE and horrorcore architects Twiztid - both of whom asserted their understanding of the assignment in laying waste to the Belasco.

With several of the stops on the Rise of the Machine tour selling out completely, along with the renewed momentum of both Static-X and Fear Factory, there is reason to believe this Machine will rise once again.
