Following a wildly successful launch in 2023, organizers of Sick New World have confirmed the fest's return with a mammoth slate of headliners for the sophomore edition.
Given that the inaugural event featured headlining sets from the likes of game-changing greats like System Of A Down, Deftones and Korn, in addition to stacked bill that featured diversity spanning from Death Grips and Turnstile to The Sisters of Mercy and Coal Chamber - organizers piecing together 2024 had their work cut out for them.
Intending to make their return to Las Vegas a monumental one, the 2024 edition of Sick New World included headlining sets from a returning System Of A Down, joined by the masked horde of Slipknot making for an historic one-two. The fest also saw one of the very first showings of the newly configured Slipknot - which welcomed new drummer Eloy Casagrande with his first grand-scale production Slipknot set.
Among the additional highlights on the bill was the return of A Perfect Circle along with UK juggernauts Bring Me The Horizon - but that is just the very top of the alt heavy heap set for next spring in Sin City.
With more than 70 assembled across five different stages, the highlights were no less than abundant. Among the especially memorable entries included showings from composer mastermind, Danny Elfman, groove metal heroes Lamb Of God, metalcore disruptors Spiritbox, deathcore powerhouse Lorna Shore plus legends like Alice In Chains and Maynard's thrilling showcase with A Perfect Circle.
On hand to capture some of madness of the sprawling spectacle that was Sick New World, photographer Maurice Nunez pieced together a gallery of just some of the fest's winners. See the gallery of images below and wait patiently for what 2025 has in store.
