Marking their highly-anticipated North American debut, Norwegian black metal coven Witch Club Satan captivated a capacity crowd at the Lodge Room for the Los Angeles stop of their Founding of the North American Coven tour. 

The band's skyrocketing ascent has been fueled by their incendiary live performance - effectively translating the kind of incantation that has defined their self-titled release and subsequent singles. 

Emerging as one of the most disruptive forces in contemporary extreme music, the brood submitted a career year in 2025. Showcasing highlight sets at prestigious international festivals including Roadburn, Hellfest, Sonic Rites and Rockstadt Extreme Fest, along with their own sold out European headlining run - North American audiences have been eager to witness the spectacle for themselves. 

A masterful coalesce of black metal pageantry and technicality paired with punk rock ethos, the trio left zero doubt as to their mounting coup of contemporary extreme music. Sourcing selections from their 2024 self-titled full length, entries like "I Was Made By Fire" were spellbinding - shifting from celestial to hellacious as vocal harmonies became tortured wails, angels became banshees. 

"Black Metal Is Krig," struck with devastating force, serving as a profound reminder of kind of hostility and vitriol that lies between the lines of Witch Club Satan's art. On "Fresh Blood, Fresh Pussy" and "Wild Whores," the collective's fiercely feminist disposition is paired with consuming black metal riffs and a violent vocal rasp. The soundtrack is one that translates as imposing, wholly intense and intellectual in its dissent. 

Completing their statement of intent with one of their earliest tracks in "Solace Sisters," the finale lay waste to the Lodge Room in a way that proved as consuming as it was bewitching - leaving everyone bearing witness convinced they had just experienced the future of the black metal.
