Australian nu-metalcore pushers Druid have premiered a blistering new video for the latest track in a series of singles that will anchor their forthcoming late 2021 EP in 'The Beauty and The Decay'.
Following previous releases in "Room 44" and the prior KNOTFEST premiere of "DTHBLW," Druid's most recent effort in "I, Exist (Voices)", offers the latest chapter in an expansive, nuanced narrative that combines a poignant storyline with the band's articulate brand of aggression.
Of the latest single, Druid explains that "I, Exist (Voices)," "...is a narrative which explores our protagonist's state of mind and his internal conflict when found at a crossroad in his life. The result of his devastating actions has him struggling to understand the fallout. What has lead him here in this moment to have "blood on his hands"? The song explores how he struggles with conflicting voices trying to determine whether the outcome was justified or damning."
With each track functioning like chapters, each of the three cuts thus far in "Room 44," "DTHBLW," and now "I, Exist (Voices)" will further build the complete series of events that comprise the plot of Druid's introductory EP.
'I, Exist (Voices)' was written by Druid & The Loud Noise Estate. Evan Lee and Ash Daws from The Loud Noise Estate also produced, mixed, and mastered the track. Watch for more details regarding 'The Beauty and The Decay'. Watch the premiere of "I, Exist (Voices)" below.
