In just a short three-year span, Norway's Once Awake has kept a prolific pace in releasing three albums just as many years.

As one of the standouts from the recent KNOTFEST Pulse of the Maggots digital festival, the Bergen natives managed to deliver an impressive showing of groove metal that asserted their reputation for quantity, is also rooted in quality.

Following the band's late 2020 LP release in Bridgeburner, the band has quickly gotten to work in 2021 with yet another single in "Bury Your Soul". Earning comparisons to the likes of In Flames and Soilwork, Once Awake asserts competent musicianship with skilled songwriting. Equally aggressive and articulate, the band carries on the Norwegian sound of heavy groove and uninhibited release.
