Continuing a year of impressive strides, the PNW metalcore outfit of Exanimate maintain their pace with yet another single release in "Grey State".
The latest offering echos the same dynamic brand of heavy that anchors the band's previous efforts, including the 2020 releases in "Mosaic Warfare," "Spirit Decay," and their Darkness EP that garnered the attention of the genre earlier this year.
On the band's most recent selection, "Grey State" again showcases the band's slick stylized angst, packaged with meaty guitars, pummeling percussion and a vocal presence that translates genuine emotion.
