Despite the news from developer Behaviour Interactivethat the next-gen version of horror video game Dead By Daylight would be ready by the Holiday of 2020, it looks as though things bumped up.
The game first appeared on the list of launch games available for the soon to be released PS5 console. Then Behaviour issued a press release confirming that the game would be available for launch on November 10th for Xbox Series X and for "Day One" for Playstation 5. Different regions will have access to the console on November 12th and others on November 19th. The game will be ready to go for both.
Behaviour Interactive has also announced that gamers who own the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version of the title are eligible for a free upgrade to next-gen. The players progress in the game follow them to next-gen as well. Content drops are expected to be coming down the pipe as well and will be made available for free to players.
“Dead by Daylight continues to break records and we’re so grateful to our fans for their support. The future is coming to us in the shape of these amazing new platforms. Dead by Daylight will be there, bigger and better than ever to terrify people using the latest tech!” shared Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive.
