Shattering records and welcome more than 175,000 fans in 2025, Ohio's Sonic Temple is making good on their current rank as one of the country's biggest heavy music events in. With 2025 marking the Sonic Temple debut of Metallica, Linkin Park's first festival appearance on the year and an epic showing spanning some 30 years of KORN, the 2026 installment of Sonic Temple has already begun to level up the bar.
Set for May 14th-17th at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, the first wave of bands for Sonic Temple was confirmed last week, leaning into the surging popularity of the modern deathcore. At the very top, symphonic brutalizers Lorna Shore has been confirmed for Sonic Temple 2026, along with Paleface Swiss, Attila, Chelsea Grin, Brand of Sacrifice and Disembodied Tyrant among the first wave of confirmed acts.
Rolling out a weekly announcement of bands for Sonic Temple 2026, the Danny WImmer team has issued the next crop of bands set for next spring in Ohio. Featuring the magnitude of contemporary metalcore, Sonic Temple 2026 will feature sets from Electric Callboy along with We Came As Romans, The Plot In You, Make Them Suffer, as well as Bloodywood and Conquer/Divide.
