Trekking in support of their 2024 Reigning Phoenix Music release, Banished By Sin. death metal pillars Deicide are set to begin the Latin American lag of the Unholy Trinity Tour with Behemoth this week. Ahead of the start of the tour, the band have announced a new acquisition, reconfiguring their live line-up with addition of one of underground music's most talented forces.
Jadran "Conan" Gonzalez, of Los Angeles shred specialists Exmortus, has been confirmed as the newest member of Deicide. Gonzalez is stepping in to take on duties for longtime guitarist, Kevin Quirion.
Conan shared in a statement regarding the news, “I'm thrilled and honored to jam amongst such legends as Glen and Steve and to hang with the rest of the team. I thank them for having me on board. I'm looking forward to unleashing hell in Latin America on this tour."
The refreshed line-up of Deicide will be unveiled in Curitiba, Brazil on September 19th for the first night of the Unholy Trinity Latin America tour. Along with Nidhogg, the caravan will touch down in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica before closing out with a finale in Mexico City on October 11th. See the list of dates and cities below.
