Currently trekking with Escuela Grind, the New Orleans-based grindcore blue chips in BRAT have announced plans to release their debut full length record via Prosthetic Records. The album, Social Grace, is due March 15th and follows the band's pair of EPs in 2021's Mean is What We Aim For and 2022's Grime Boss. 

Turning heads with the band's brand of hardcore-latent grindcore, BRAT has since been relentless on the road since their 2021 start. Sharing stages with the likes of Eyehategod, Cro-Mags and stylistic contemporaries like ACxDC, No/Mas and now Escuela Grind, the self-proclaimed purveyors of barbiegrind have resonated with an emerging cross-section of fans that identify with the BRAT's meld of death metal, thrash, and powerviolence. 

Officially commencing their debut album campaign, BRAT has shared a new music video for the latest preview of the full length. Having already dropped the title and the blistering "Human Offense", "Hesitation Wound" features a interesting juxtapose of humor to counter the intensity BRAT's music - both in style and substance. 

The band shared, "Hesitation Wound is the third single from our first album Social Grace, debuting on March 15. In true BRAT form the music video is in keeping with our campy lighthearted approach to the otherwise grim music and lyrics."

As for the thematic direction of Social Grace, the album underscores the band's confrontational disposition, delving into dismal while somehow implementing a sense of celebration - like getting a great seat and to watch the world crumble. Combined with an affinity for psychological horror fiction and a bit of Stephen King worship, BRAT seem poised to make an impact as prospects in the grind's modern era.
