Having recently debuted new music with the release of "In the Mean Time" with New Years Day vocalist Ash Costello, Italian goth metal veterans Lacuna Coil are turning the page on the next chapter of their lengthy professional run.

Concluding a spring run of live North American tour dates and currently working on new music, the band have announced they have parted ways with longtime guitarist, Diego Cavallotti.

Keeping the circumstances close to the chest, the band released an amicable statement confirming the news. The band said, "As we step into a new cycle, writing and recording our next album, we are parting ways with Diego “DD” Cavallotti.

We thank him for the many unforgettable moments shared over the years and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.

All future live plans remain unchanged and the new songs are taking form, we can’t wait to share them with our fans."

Along with the band's recent developments, Lacuna Coil are ramping up for additional touring plans for later this Year. Enlisting Finnish sensation Blind Channel, Lacuna Coil will set out on a stretch of UK/Ireland dates this October. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below.
