Northeast death metal horde Vomit Forth have debuted a new standalone single, "Blood Soaked Death Dream" - a track that emphasizes why the band has earned such a teflon reputation with even the most staunch death metal purists.
The sub three-minute wallop combines punishing riffs, relentless percussion and a hellacious showing from vocalist Kane Gelaznik - leading the charge on an entry that revels in a nihilistic worldview.
The band shared of the single, “‘Blood Soaked Death Dream’ is about how humans are almost parasitic and self hating in nature. We see other people as opportunities and when people see us as an opportunity we feel anger towards them. It’s kind of a walk through that spiritual journey and how we wish we weren’t like that but we are, and as a result there’s an inherent desire to destroy ourselves and everyone around us. In a Blood Soaked Death Dream."
The single lands following Vomit Forth's productive touring slate in 2024. The band recently completed a spring US tour supporting Gates to Hell. Earlier this year, Vomit Forth served as support on the EU/UK leg of the Terrasite Tour, supporting deathgrind veterans, Cattle Decapitation.
"Blood Soaked Death Dream" serves to start the band's next chapter, completing the two year cycle in support of the band's 2022 Century Media Records debut, Seething Malevolence. The well-received effort resulted in a whirlwind of touring dates, further solidifying the band's hype at the head of death metal's emerging new class.
"Blood Soaked Death Dream" is now available via Century Media Records.
