The legendary thrash band mark four decades of shred with a sold out celebration at one of rock music's most iconic destinations.

Revered for their lasting impact and enduring influence on heavy culture and the thrash music foundation, Anthrax brought their caravan of crash to the Hollywood Palladium on their 40th anniversary tour. In tow, the NY thrash pillars brought along the maximum riffage of Black Label Society and the metallica hardcore crossover of genre OGs Hatebreed in what would be a sold out celebration of heft.

Capturing the volatility and and volume of the historic night, photographer Maurice Nunez, armed with his camera, managed to get a snapshot of the kind of electricity that only seemed to swell in intensity as the night went on. Met by a capacity crowd that was revved and ready to go well before the doors even opened, the combination of Anthrax, BLS and Hatebreed proved to be a generational assembly of three outfits that function as our culture's elder statesmen and ever-relevant flag-bearers.

Almost nothing lasts four decades... then there is Anthrax. See the images below.
