Arguably one of the most anticipated caravans of the summer, the announcement of Rob Zombie and Mudvayne teaming up for The Freaks on Parade Tour has proven to be on the hottest tickets of the season. With Zombie not only gearing up for the release of his feature film adaptation of the beloved, golden-era television series The Munsters, the rock icon continues to deliver at his peak, touring on the strength of his 2021 opus, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy.

The second half of the blockbuster tandem features nu-metal mainstays Mudvayne and marks the band's first extended touring stint in some 13 years. Last year, the band made headlines reuniting to perform a handful of festivals, including Inkcarceration, Welcome to Rockville and Aftershock. Riding that momentum, the resurgence carried over into 2022, with the band rolling into the summer months with a full head of steam - forging an unholy union with one of rock music's most celebrated showmen.

Rounded out by the metallic nostalgia of enduring outfits like Static-X and energized upheaval of Powerman 5000 - The Freaks On Parade has captured the command of fans that appreciate the kind of revelry that remains the common thread throughout the bill. An engaging, enthralling blend of rock rebellion and theatric spectacle, the package boasts an element of party that remains essential to rock music's health and longevity.

Capturing the Southern California stop of the trek, rock photographer Maurice Nunez documented the totality of a tour that featured two of genre's most enduring collectives. The co-headlining pair of Zombie and Mudvayne came through colossal and we got the images to prove it.
