In the wake of the well-earned success of the band's Profound Mortality EP, Heriot have confirmed the news of their highly-anticipated full length debut set for a September 27th release date via Century Media Records. 

Working closely with Josh Middleton of Sylosis and formerly of Architects, as well as the revered Will Putney (END, Fit For An Autopsy, Better Lovers), Devoured by the Mouth of Hell, compiles ten assaultive tracks furnishing the band's distinct brand of metallic hardcore. 

Last month, the band delivered the first preview of their pending onslaught, debuting the brawny, bombastic "Siege Lord" and reasserting their undeniable muscle. To properly rollout the announcement of the forthcoming album, Heriot have shared the second serving from the presentation with the equally potent, "Foul Void". 

Speaking on the release of the single, the band share how "Foul Void" was intended to revisit the golden era of metalcore in a way that spoke to their breadth of influences while creating something fresh, new. "‘Foul Void' was one of the last tracks written for our debut album, Devoured by the Mouth of Hell. Sonically influenced by '90s and early 00’s metalcore, the song delves into the inner struggle of an individual facing uncertainties about their faith."

Along with the news of the eagerly-awaited debut album, Heriot continues to spread their gospel of sludgey heft live. The band are set for a series of European festival plays including Rock Im Park / Rock Am Ring in Germany this week, Download Festival in the UK next as well as Resurrection Fest in Spain, Jera On Air in the Netherlands and Hellfest in France all this month alone. 

Additionally, Heriot have been confirmed as support for the highly-touted EU/UK tour with Fit For An Autopsy, Sylosis, and Darkest Hour. The run kicks off in November and stretches through the end of the year, punctuating what will be fruitful 2024 for one of heavy music's most promising prospects.
